Virtual/Internet Therapy

It may be called telepsychology, web therapy, internet therapy or virtual psychotherapy, but all are names for mental health services provided via videoconferencing within a secure network.

Therapeutic & Forensic Evaluation

A forensic mental health assessment (FMHA) is a psychological evaluation that has been ordered by a judge, requested by an attorney, or required by an employer or state agency.  A therapeutic assessment is also a psychological evaluation (employing psychological testing), but it is for the purpose of diagnostic clarification and treatment planning, and is usually requested by another mental health professional.

Expert Witness Services

I have experience in the following areas: evaluation of competency to stand trial; assessment of mental status at the time of an alleged criminal act; risk assessment & recommendations for treatment/sentencing; determination of whether an juvenile is amenable to treatment or should be sentenced as an adult; assessment of psychological/emotional damages in civil cases; fitness for duty (FFD) evaluations; threat assessments, evaluations of applicants for international adoption, and evaluations for immigration & asylum.

Diagnostic Evaluation

The initial 50-minute session is designed to gather pertinent history and make beginning treatment recommendations.  This may require more than one session but usually involves a single meeting .


Psychological Assessment

Therapeutic assessments are charged at the rate of $275 hour plus the cost of any computer scoring of psychological tests.  Forensic evaluations may be more expensive, depending upon the requirements of the particular assessment. 

Individual Therapy

50-minute psychotherapy session for adults or adolescents always on Zoom.

Parenting Coaching/Family Therapy/Other Consultations

$225

Coaching for the parents of children with behavioral problems or the parents of young adults who are stumbling, and who might be characterized "failing-to -launch."

At times, persons who have suffered trauma and abuse at the hands of a person with pathological narcissism may want a consultation to better understand what occurred and how best to proceed to protect themselves and/or their children.

Insurance & Payment Options

I am no longer on any preferred provider insurance network. I accept Zelle and Venmo payments. If you need other methods, please contact me. I will provide you with a detailed invoice which you may submit to your insurance company and which, on occasion, may provide you with some reimbursement.
